Our Mission

Equine Advocates of New England (The Voice of the Horse) is a 501(3)(c) non profit organization established for the purposes of conducting educational, investigative, and legislative actions beneficial to the health, well-being and humane treatment of equines. Principles of Equine Advocates of New England include, but are not limited to: (1) educate horse owners or potential horse owners about the proper care of equines; (2) conduct independent investigations of horse abuse, and, if warranted, bring those actions to the notice of the appropriate local, state or federal prosecutorial departments; (3) review of and assistance to any local, state or federal agencies in actionable cases; (4) review and maintain all local, state or federal case, statutory law, or code regulations relative to equines; and (5) propose legislation as appropriate for the advancement of and protection for equines throughout New England.
